Frankly, Franklin Rules!

Bestselling writer Ellen Mae Franklin informed me today that she was going on a sales drive. Her book “Unseen Promise” has been nothing more than a pure, golden, smash, shockingly successful HIT!

The author proves a fertile imagination when she sketches the world and characters. And I do not mean a few characters, but a plethora. Whether they are main characters, or transient one, whether they are on the good or evil side, all of them will incite and about each of them you’ll want to know more.”~ Reviewer

Carol Bond (who writes under the pseudonym Ellen Mae Franklin)

Ellen at home with the coy writer at play look.

What makes Ellen tick? Her keen sense of humour? Her abundant writing talent? Her strong sense of what is good for her characters?

If you are looking for a fast paced fantasy story with compelling threads and a mixture of exotic characters – then this is for you. The story is set in a world governed by magic and is basically a battle between good and evil powers that want to manipulate Tarkeenia for their own satisfaction.“~ Reviewer

No, it’s her creative mind that makes Ellen one of the strongest, most interesting and frankly, one of the strongest selling fiction writers of the independent world…

The action is sustained, always occurs or something happens, and the events links and has continuity. There are no forced artifices, everything flows logically. In the end I will say that The Unseen Promise is a book that (1) I will definitely reread and (2) with the same pleasure.“~ Reviewer

What more can I say? You need to read this one!

Synopsis

Set on the world Tarkeenia, this story marks the struggle between god and man, magic and indefinable evil. Monsters walk the shadows and the tip of balance between dark and light, good and evil. Even on a good day, living is tenuous.

Strangers become friends, uneasy alliances are tainted by betrayal and self gain. Unlikely heroes salvage what they can, in a world on the brink of chaos.

Flesh eating Specks, turn the living to dust, Murrdocks and Dwarves, Benzines and Magi all strive to make do in a world bubbling with wild magic. Will Tarkeenia survive the tug and pull of the very spoilt and the very wicked? Will those lost to the dark, find a way back to the light? Is it possible to forget, or forgive and begin again? All these questions and more are answered in this first book, as the reader walks Tarkeenia’s many paths.
